The American West trend is inspired by Western Wear, Ranches, and the American Indians. This is a fabric and pattern driven trend. Emphasis is on Leather, Suede, Corduroy, Eyelet, Lace, and Flannel. It is about mixing rough fabrics with soft fabrics. The American West trend is Denim and Chambray friendly. Handcrafted looks in both details and prints are key, focusing on patterns from cowboy boots and belts. Handkerchief patterns and country flowers mix with dobby stripes and western plaids. Fringe, ropes and studs, are key details.
Hunt and Gather
The Hunt and Gather trend is influenced by the outdoors, hiking, hunting, and fishing. This trend is driven by fabrics, finishes, and patterns. Plaids are the main pattern broken up by nature motifs, American Western patterns, and blanket stripes. Most fabrics feature coatings, warm finishes, brushed hands, or coatings that offer protection from the elements. Layering is key for warmth and silhouettes are slightly oversized featuring textured knits and heavy sweaters which can also be used as an outerwear piece.
The Country Estate trend features British inspired fabrics and patterns in updated silhouettes. Classic fabrics return along with soft, or brushed finishes. There is a handcrafted element. Plaids and Blanket stripes appear. Patchwork, quilted, and crochet weaves emerge. Sweaters and Outerwear are key categories. The Country Estate trend features an overflowing capsule of flowers, fruit, and vegetables merging with rustic plaids. Embroideries and appliques return to garments.
