The first story is about freeing ourselves from beauty standards and accepting our imperfections. The accent is on sensitivity, on rediscovering the sensorial and accentuating gender fluidity. Surface effects and sensual textures from last summer’s Vital story are highly important here, but this time, the body, flesh and skin are the basis for design.

Strengthening empathetic connection that unites people with mistreated, threatened Nature. We dream of an imaginary, immersive universe in which strange landscapes and vegetation are artificially recreated. This story follows last season’s Pioneer theme, exploring the world and Nature with a more poetic and evanescent focus.

SPLENDOR & MESS
Rather than reinventing everything, we recycle the archives. We use collage and spontaneous assemblages, combining ordinary and familiar images with precious historic elements, with chaotic results! The fun and unbridled creativity from Specimen guides this season’s metamorphosis of bits of the past.

MODERN WITH A CAUSE
Inspired by a community spirit where the notion of the collective becomes the predominant response to exclusion politics. We work toward creating a beneficial universal ideal, adding a bit of soul to industrial atmospheres. Pragmatic and functional esthetics are softened or made less banal to improve daily life. The rebellious protest attitude present in the Liberated story is more constructive and more optimistic here.
